  RTA Cabinet Review:
  
  After deciding to replace our Ikea cabinets after 17 years, we researched local and online RTA cabinet companies, we wanted a cabinet that was strong, study, durable, White Shaker Style. Concerned about the paint over time showing cracks in the joints and connection points.
  
  We read many reviews on Houzz and online websites regarding RTA cabinets, many of them seemed the same with subtle difference regarding box design with plastic or metal corner clips, or cambers, or MDF or HDF. We ordered door samples in White Shaker from: JK, Lilly Ann, Kitchen Cabinet King, Online Cabinets Direct, KnottyAlder, Cliq studios, RTA CabinetStore, etc and BestOnlineCabinets.
  
  Many companies use a HDF or MDF center floating panel, I was concerned that they would show a stress or shrinkage crack over time. After visiting some of the Home Depot’s and Lowe’s I noticed on their Door samples from Thomasville and Kraftmaid, did show some signs of cracking of the paint at the seams.
  
  We decided on the White Shaker Cabinets from BestOnlineCabinets in California, they are CARB compliant, their Door was a Solid wood door routered out of a single piece of wood, no seams to show.
  The paint is a low sheen very durable. The criteria I feel important on ordering cabinets after reading reviews on Houzz and the other websites:
  
  Shipping: Bestonlinecabinets shipping was fast, only a few days from order to delivery, a few doors and pieces were damaged in transit and they were replaced in a few day’s as well, lead time from order to delivery was about 5 days, follow up another 3-4 days for the replacement items. Fast.
  
  Assembly Instructions: The holes are predrilled pilot holes for easy assembly and you can follow the online or printed instructions, I would of provided a few more details for novices that are new to woodworking. After building a few boxes, it goes fast.
  
  Customer Service: The Design Team was fast to respond by phone or email, no delay’s in waiting on questions or replacement items.
  
  Customization: We have an Kraus Apron Sink, since an Apron sink sit’s lower in the cabinet frame, we had to customize the cabinet frame and order smaller doors. The Frame is made of high quality Rubber Tree wood, it cut’ very smooth and no chips or tears in the paint, you can get a precision cut to customize your frame. We also customized the Frame to fit the Wall Oven for a 30 In. opening, it looks professional, you cannot tell it was put together from 3 cabinets.
  
  Cabinet Boxes: they are 5/8 plywood all around, front sides back and kick plate.
  
  Installation: I would recommend installing ANY cabinet to have the E-Z level system and a floating Laser level, we were able to get the cabinet’s to 3/32’s of an inch.
  
  Recommendation: Order door samples to see the quality. I would use BestOnline Cabinets again for my next project.
